PLEASE KNOCKÂ is a community for erotic art lovers founded in 2020. We provide a forum where artists can display their work free from the suffocating censorship due to social media restrictions. Our community has grown to include volunteer writers, event coordinators, editors, artists and members of the erotic art scene. Unlike television and film, where certain levels of eroticism can be explored, the internet categorizes most erotic art as pornographic. These extreme constraints punish creators and erase great artworks. In response, PLEASE KNOCK created the Erotic Art Fair. The fair features vendor booths showcasing vintage smut magazines, books, antique erotic collectibles and novelties. We welcome a lineup of prominent artists that craft sexually themed handmade art exclusively for our fair.

Gallery Exhibition: PLEASE KNOCK's first publication 'Smut Visions NYC'. Over the past year, we’ve traveled across NYC, collecting over 500 erotic illustrations into a single physical book. No digital submissions were accepted—every drawing was gathered in person as we carried the book with us everywhere. Contributions from renowned names include: Richard Kern, Mike Diana, Eartheater, Alex Heir, Cumgirl8, Olivier Zahm, Heather Benjamin, and Clayton Patterson. The printed edition of Smut Visions NYC was available for purchase at the fair. A dedicated area at the event showcased information about the contributors, photographs, and the original book used to gather the illustrations.
Private Collections & Publishers: Japanese Avant-Garde Books showcased rare magazines and books from their private collection. Innen books, contributed their epic erotic zines. The legendary fetish dealer, Centurian, sent us rare out-of-print catalogs. Additionally, Joseph Vasta, one of New York's pioneering erotic art dealers, offered a selection of high-quality collectibles, including rare and out-of-print books, periodicals, vintage photographs, and postcards.
Collaborations: We were honored to partner with the UK Fetish Archive at the Bishopsgate Institute. Attendees received free high-quality Riso prints of a John Willie artwork, generously donated by the archive. Bare Back Yard Games: by artist and art director ESTR
